4. Soda and treats

These lip glosses are adorable, and they make great food and drinks for your dolls! You can find the ones pictures and more on Claires.com for $3.50 each. Just search "lip gloss food" and you'll see them!

The Prank, Part 1

Twas' right before daybreak, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring except two naughty little mice.
"Do you think she'll fall for it?" Kaitlyn asked.
"Oh yeah, definitely. She's so naïve," replied McKenna.
"I don't know- it seems kinda mean."
"Don't worry. She'll be fine."
I woke up, like I did before I came to "the house." That's what I had called it for so many years in the orphanage.
I walked over to Kaitlyn and McKenna.
"Good morning," I said with a yawn.
"Hey, Carrie. Can I show you something outside?  It's really cool," McKenna told me.
I stared down at my bare feet. "Ok," I said hesitantly, wanting to make a good impression.
McKenna dragged me down the stairs and out the door.

"Over there," McKenna pointed. I shivered. Even though it was warmer here than in NY, where the orphanage was, it was still pretty cold.
I looked over. Before I knew it, I heard footsteps and a lock.
I tried in vain to open the door. It was useless.
I sighed. It was getting colder. The only thing comforting me was the sunrise.
I felt the tears streaming down my face. It wasn't because of the prank, but the hearts behind it. (Also notice the "cheerios" quote unquote, from earlier this month) Did the people here hate me?
~End of Part 1~
Hehe, did you really think I would leave you hanging?

~Part 2~
It seemed like hours when some boys ran out the door. I hid. Then it dawned on me: they had unlocked the door! I ran back inside, shivering.
On the way to Josie's bed, I saw Saige. She was always interesting. One week she was sporty, this week she was a lady.
"Hey Carrie, how- why, you're freezing!" she said.
She immediately threw me on the bed.
She hugged me tight, and asked me to explained what happened. I told her everything.
"I used to live in the orphanage," I told her. "The American Girl Orphanage. My parents died in a fire when I was three, leaving me and my sister behind. She was only 12 months at the time. We were separated, and I don't know what happened to her."
Saige only hugged me again. McKenna and Kaitlyn got in big trouble-they were grounded, in fact. A couple days later, Kaitlyn apologized, explain McKenna had lured her. I didn't know if she would be my friend. But I did know that one person was there for me: Saige.

Catching The Leprechaun!

Hi guys!
I have a lot going on in my life right now. I may not have time to post next week, so be prepared Nikki! ;)
Anyway, this St. Patrick's Day Katie and Saige made a leprechaun trap. Unfortunately, the camera on my ipad was broken and my Mom wasn't home so I couldn't take photos.
Here's how we made the leprechaun trap.
Katie got a cardboard box and covered it with green paint. Saige put some green confetti inside the box("grass"). Katie drew a rainbow on a piece of cardboard and glued it to the end of the lid. Saige dug through the basement and found a mini pot with 2 fake plastic coins in it. She glued the pot to the end of the rainbow. Katie cut a hole in front of the rainbow and glued pennies on the side of the hole.

Okay, now Katie and Saige are gonna tell what happened next.

The next day me and Saige Saige and I woke up. The first thing we did was check our little trap.
Katie and I eagerly ran to the trap. Instead of finding a leprechaun, we found a very naughty dog...
Eating our coins! Sam was there, chewing on a penny. Saige gasped in horror and passed out.
First thing first, I did not pass out. I fainted. Anyways, I quickly called the vet.
The vet didn't believe Saige at first. We finally convinced her to come to our house.
The vet came and did an X-ray. The vet said she would take Sam to the office and give him surgery.
And guess who passed out fainted again.
Katie and I were late for school. The teacher gave us the stink eye and marked us tardy.
Wow. We've been tardy 27 times this year already!

Okay, so then Katie and Saige started to bicker about the story and I had to have them end the story.
See you guys next week!

Guess who's birthday is on April 13?

A Craft!!

Clara requested a craft! This is for you Clara! I hope everyone likes it!
I put these two photos together so it might look weird. First,  get some glue, foam squares or big sponges, tape, markers, or paint. I used tape for this craft!
Next, glue the pieces together and hold it together for 2 minutes.
Then, put the tape or whatever you use on the foam or sponges.
This is the finished product!
Now your dolls can play with the mat or whatever you want it to be!

The Obstacle Course of Doom

Hey! It's your favorite Wednesday poster, Josie. Yesterday it was really warm, and my brother and I made an obstacle course. Considering Saige is sporty, it was no surprise when she found the obstacle course. I decided to follow her.
Saige snuck up to McKenna and pinched her.
"Ow!" she cried. "What was that for?"
"It's Saint Patrick's Day. You're not wearing green," Saige replied. "Anyway, I found this obstacle course outside."
"So?"
"So it's for two people, and I want you do it with me."
"No. I just got on my dress for Josephina's party."
"Please?"
"Fine. But only for a minute."
First, they had to dribble a soccer ball through cones.
"Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!" McKenna screamed, rolling on the ball.
Meanwhile, Saige made it look easy.
Next, they had to jump rope to the baseball base.
"A little help? This rope is way too big!" McKenna said. I was pretty sure Saige was cheating, since she was already to the finish.
At the base, they had to put on a blue soccer scrimmage jersey.
"Whoa! How do you get this thing on?" McKenna asked.

"You just have to think outside the box," Saige told her.

Next, they had to bounce a ball on a frisbee on one foot for as long as they can.
Instead, McKenna was kissing the ground. When she finally got up, she pleasantly said, "Sister dear, did it ever occur to you this course is for HUMANS!!!!!!!!!"
"Um, maybe," Saige admitted.

Hehe, those girls. Remember, we still need auditions for the blog for a Thursday poster. Ta-ta for now,
Josie
